For the last several months I’ve been preparing my next solo art exhibit, EL LUCHA MONSTRUO! Combining the larger-then-life qualities of Mexican Luchadores and everyone’s favourite monsters like Dr. Frankenstein into a new terrifying acreature. The show will feature 13 brand new illustrations, plus special guest artist Ghoulish Gary Pullin.
If you’re in Toronto, come by The Gladstone Hotel on Friday July 24th and step into the ring!
Here’s the the poster and a couple preview images. Hope to see you there!

If there was a shadowy phantom prison planet for people that neglect blogs, I would be there.
The site got a face lift today, so go check it out! This blog will be getting a similar look and feel soon enough. But knowing my track record with this thing…
Until then, here’s my favourite monster!

Here’s a new illustration for funsies. It’s one half of a small illustration set I did for Rue Morgue Magazine last summer, but always wanted to turn into a full illustration. It’s great to cut loose between client gigs and illustrate something entirely for fun. There will be a guy zombie keep her company somewhere soon enough, with prints for sale.

For the record, I’m a huge trekker. HUGE. So when a good friend of mine, Dave Alexander who blogs over at MSN, asked me to take part in his entry on the new Star Trek reboot, I was very excited to say the least. Head on over and read what I, and two fellow trekkers had to say about the ST reboot. Don’t think any less of me afterwards.
Engage!
Live long and posper!
Work progresses steadily on my many projects, with one in particular I can’t wait to share with you….
Until then, here’s a warm up sketch finished a couple nights ago. It’s not Lovecraft, but definitely influenced by him.

Greetings boys and ghouls, I bid you welcome to my blog such as it is.
Here I will be posting up new work a little more frequently then the main site, as well as incomplete work, random rabblings and everything in between.
Without further delay, I present new work! Gig/event posters are some of my favourite things to do. Practically anything goes, and they’re great for experimenting with new techniques and imagery. Here are a few new ones!

More to come!
